Linda Teneycke

Linda Teneycke is a multidisciplinary artist through years of engagement with both art and education. Her career as an art and English teacher as well as an instructor of community college classes filled most days but there was always some time for personal creative projects.

Linda has been a potter for 50 years. The diverse possibilities of clay eventually expanded from pottery vessels to clay sculpting.

After relocating from Saskatchewan to Vancouver Island, she found new inspiration in the rich diversity of woods. This led to woodcarving on furniture and vessels, eventually woodturning as well.
