Lisa Urlacher, daughter of Carol Leger inherited her artist talent. Lisa credits her mother for this new love of fiber art as she would never have taken on this interest if it had not been for her mother’s abundance of resources left behind after her passing.

Silk Fusion is also known as silk paper, Lisa has combined a unique method of bonding the silk and fusing it to hand dyed fabrics, a method learned by the teachings of a group of women called the “Three Mucketeers” that her mother belonged to. Lisa wishes that she had started this journey earlier under her mother’s guidance as she was an amazing mentor to the group that enjoyed “mucking” around.
